Zane Smith

Zane Smith, PT, MPT, OCS, Cert. DN

Owner

Zane is a native of the northwest and grew up in east Portland. He graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2003 with a Masters in Physical Therapy. He also has a BS in Human Biology. Zane believes that regardless of where the patient receives PT it must be comprehensive; encompassing not only tools to treat inflammation and pain, soft tissue dysfunction, muscle imbalances and specific weakness as well as overall functional limitations, but also enhancing the patients ability to treat themselves and continue to thrive on an independent basis. In addition to treating orthopedic conditions his other professional interests include the management of chronic headaches to include migraines as well as other chronic pain conditions. When not in the clinic Zane loves to spend time with his wife Leslie and their two children Zoe and Gage, at home in Washington. They enjoy snow skiing, fishing, camping and other outdoor activities. Zane and Leslie are heavily involved in their community and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Dina Peganoff

Dina Peganoff, PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT, Cert. DN

Physical Therapist Director

Dina earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2016 from The University of Findlay in Ohio. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Liberal Studies from Barry University with honors in Miami, Florida.

Dina is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists and a Certified Manual Therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. She also completed an Orthopedic and Clinical Residency Program accredited by the American Board of Physical Therapy in 2019. Dina is currently a Fellow in Training in manual and orthopedic physical therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Physical Therapy and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Dina recently achieved Certification and WA state endorsement in Dry Needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. She is certified in Vestibular and Concussion Disorders through the American Balance Institute. Dina enjoys treating patients of all ages to help them to achieve overall health. Dina has an interest in the treatment of spinal disorders, vestibular disorders, TMD, headaches, and general orthopedic injuries. She utilizes a variety of manual therapy techniques in combination with therapeutic exercise to provide complete patient care. Outside of work, Dina enjoys gardening, playing golf, paddle boarding, skiing and is an alumni member of the Mount Hood Ski Patrol.

Brittany N.

Physical Therapist Assistant

Brittany has been working as a PTA since 2019. She went to school at Mount Hood Community College and spent a few years working in Portland before finding her way to the Vancouver area. She worked at the clinic's Camas location for about a year and has been with Timberline PT since January of 2024. She has spent her career working in the outpatient setting, working with people of all ages and all levels of activity or function.

Her favorite hobbies are camping, hiking, painting, traveling, and of course spending time with family and friends. She firmly believes that the key to a happy healthy life is to stay active no matter what it is you enjoy.

Raz N. is a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant who is passionate about helping individuals regain their mobility, strength, and confidence through personalized therapy plans. With a solid background in fitness and rehabilitation, he aims to empower his patients on their journey to recovery. Having kicked his first soccer ball, fitness has enriched Raz's life for over 25 years, even after undergoing spinal surgery in 2016. This experience has taught him the importance of disciplined actions in achieving desired outcomes, fueling his mission to help others become their most confident, and self-assured selves. In addition to his professional qualifications, which include an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assistance and certifications as a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer and a National Council on Strength and Fitness Certified Personal Trainer.

Raz brings a diverse set of interests to his practice. He enjoys outdoor activities like camping and hiking, as well as engaging in soccer. Traveling and experiencing different cultures enriches his perspective, and he enjoys cooking nutritious meals that support an active lifestyle. Raz believes that everyone can benefit from physical therapy and tailors his approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.

His goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment where his patients can thrive. Every day, he strives to share his experience, passion, and integrity, working with those who are equally optimistic and dedicated to discovering the rewards and challenges of physical therapy. He looks forward to being a part of his patients' journeys toward achieving their health goals.

Sy L., PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Sy has worked as a physical therapist assistant in outpatient settings since 2019, where he is most interested in the science of pain and meeting people where they are apt to facilitate adaptation and healing. He was born and raised in New York, pursued a bio-engineering degree in Pasadena, CA, and has worked as a researcher, patent agent, martial arts teacher, professional tutor, and bartender. Sy and his wife moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2016 and settled in the Kerns neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, where they enjoy cooking, reading, gaming, and arguing about philosophy and aesthetics.

Susanna has been part of the Timberline team since August 2009 working at the front desk and occasionally as the Physical Therapy tech. She earned her Bachelor's in Health Science from Linfield University - Portland Campus in 2009. At work she enjoys seeing patients realize their progression and potential in physical therapy. She also enjoys the team work atmosphere from her co-workers. In her spare time, you can find Susanna hanging out with her husband at a live music concert or spending time with friends, family and their dogs Leia and Windu.

Front Desk/Physical Therapy Technician

Lilly joined Timberline in 2022 after earning her Bachelor's degree from Western Washington University in 2021. She studied Kinesiology with a Pre-Healthcare specialization, and enjoys being a part of a team that encourages and supports all of their patients. In the clinic you can find Lilly either in the front office or assisting patients as a Physical Therapy tech. Outside of work she enjoys painting, reading, and spending time outside with friends and family.

Kara has been a Tech with the company since 2022. Her last job was making and distributing first aid supplies, and realizing she wanted to do more to help people. Having a passion for first aid, health, and exercise, this seems to be a perfect job. Her favorite part of the day is when someone says they are feeling better.

Ashly Nakao

Billing Specialist

Moved to Vancouver from Honolulu, HI where I was the office manager for an occupational therapy clinic specializing in hand injuries/conditions. I started there as the receptionist and have learned all aspects of the front office/back-office position including billing. I graduated in 2003 from Oregon State University and am excited to have made a return to the Pacific Northwest. In my spare time I love playing volleyball, bowling, cooking, and baking.
